Current Funding opportunities:

MCS Charitable Foundation is open to funding a range of projects that advance their mission to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy and low carbon technologies.

Centrica award grants to start-ups who are creating innovative products and services that can accelerate the energy transition. This includes reducing carbon emissions, changing societal and customer use of energy or helping communities improve their energy management and deliver real benefit to the local area.

Welsh Government Energy Service brings together support services previously provided as Green Growth Wales & Local Energy Service. The service provides financial & technical support to help public sector & community groups in Wales to develop their own renewable energy schemes.

The Community Energy Fund was developed in conjunction with Big Lottery and Community Energy Wales to provide the financial support required to advance community energy projects from initial feasibility through to installation.

Since March 2019, Remarc is involved in delivering the Smarter Energy Project. This project is funded by the Co-operation and Supply Chain Development Scheme (Measure 16:2), which is part of the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014 – 2020, financed by the Welsh Government and European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).

The Climate Action Fund will support communities in the UK to take local action on climate change. These communities will stand as beacons of what is possible when people take the lead on climate change.

Free Support to help make your Community buildings more energy efficient

The Community Energy Accelerator is here to help plug the funding gap for community energy projects. With £1.5m of funds available, this bridging loan is for communities who are building and managing local renewable energy generation to benefit the local community while creating more cheap, green energy.
